An American’s Powerful Letter to Trump: Address to Congress.
My fellow Democrats — I write this letter hoping it gives a voice to you when you may feel unheard. I trust it will empower you to speak up—and that you’ll keep using your voice to make a difference.
Donald Trump,
Your address to the nation tonight was nothing short of disgraceful, and it only further exposes the hollow weakness that defines you. Your words didn’t serve to unite this country—no, they only served to stoke division, to inflame anger, and to distract us from the very real and catastrophic failures you’ve inflicted upon this nation.
You want us focused on fighting amongst ourselves while you dismantle the very fabric of this country. But we see through your thin facade. Your deception is as transparent as your fragile ego, and your temper is as childlike as it is destructive. You are not a leader, Donald. You are a coward in a suit—a puppet in Vladimir Putin’s game, and your actions tonight made that clearer than ever.
You cower behind your bigotry, tossing marginalized communities in front of you as though they be pawns in your desperate attempt to escape legal accountability. You sought to overturn the 14th Amendment by executive order. But let’s speak truth: You can attempt to evade the courts by wasting time on ridiculous executive orders all you want. Inevitably, the courts will catch up to you.
Tonight, you celebrated your so-called "victories." But make no mistake—you have no victories. You’ve delivered nothing more than catastrophic consequences for your reckless, traitorous behavior.
You’ve sabotaged our economy.
You’ve gutted our institutions.
You’ve trampled on the very ideals this nation was built upon.
And you have the audacity to stand before us, unashamed, as if the destruction you’ve caused is somehow worth celebrating.
Our economy is in freefall.
Inflation is suffocating families.
The stock market is crumbling.
Yet, there you stood tonight, smiling, hoping your loyalists would be too blind to see the devastation you've left in your wake. Truthfully, they might not see it. But real Americans see it. We’ve seen it all along, and we refuse to let you fool us.
And how dare you stand before the very Congress you’ve spent years trying to tear apart. How dare you speak before the very government you’ve sought to weaken and corrupt. You have treated our Constitution like a nuisance, and our institutions like obstacles to your self-serving agenda.
Frankly, your speech tonight feels humorous in a repugnant way. But know this: The revolution is beginning. Protests are everywhere. Americans are defending our country and uplifting one another—not fighting each other as you hoped they would.
Our nation will stay strong despite you, not because of you.
America will prevail.
And my message to you, dear reader:
I’m writing this letter with a heartfelt wish to offer you some hope. In a time when corporate media and traditional journalists are compromising their integrity, I want you to know that I will never bow to that pressure.

Bravo Johnny! I'm sickened, saddened and full of rage for our country. I can't stop, won't stop, running my mouth. Thank you for speaking truth to power. You are an important voice.
Flagrant lie after lie. It’s was a schmalz-fest. I need to go take a TUMS.
