But—hold your applause—Trump’s latest executive action? He’s signing an order to “bring back plastic straws.” That’s right, folks, forget about inflation, forget about wages, forget about healthcare. The real crisis, apparently, is that we’ve been deprived of our plastic straws. Never mind the environment or the impact on wildlife. Plastic straws are back, baby! (I’m sure the sea turtles are thrilled.)

For context, let’s revisit a moment from the past when Fox News' Jesse Watters—along with many of his Republican buddies—ripped into people who used plastic straws. They called plastic straw-users “dainty” and “pathetic.” Now, those same Republicans, led by none other than Trump, are rolling out the red carpet for the very straws they once mocked.

Mind you, this was Jesse Watters just days later.

The hypocrisy is honestly exhausting, isn’t it?

And let’s not forget the infamous moment when Trump, struggling with a glass of water, had to use both hands to lift it. Really. We have a president who can’t even pick up a glass, but somehow he’s leading the charge on plastic straws. Talk about leadership material, huh?

But hey, maybe it’s time to stop focusing on straws and actually do something about Trumpflation, which is making everything from eggs to gas prices skyrocket. Trump promised to cut costs, yet here we are—still waiting for action. So much for winning.
