Trump Embarrassed Himself. Again.
Donald Trump has consistently brought shame to our country, but today, he reached a new low.
Donald Trump has repeatedly embarrassed our nation, but today, he sank to a new low. During a meeting with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine, Trump shamelessly undermined and disrespected the Ukrainian leader at every turn. He not only questioned Zelenskyy’s leadership but also cast doubt on his actions, going so far as to side with Russia and its brutal dictator, Vladimir Putin.
It was a disgraceful and deeply humiliating moment—a spectacle so vile that I cannot, in good conscience, share excerpts from the full conversation. But to give you a sense of how degrading and performative it was, consider this:
In a video clip from the meeting, Marjorie Taylor Greene’s alleged boyfriend, took the opportunity to question President Zelenskyy—not about the ongoing war that threatens Ukraine’s very existence—but about his wardrobe. He had the audacity to ask why Zelenskyy wasn’t dressed in a suit, suggesting that his choice of attire—dressing like a man who is engaged in a life-or-death struggle for his country—was somehow inappropriate.
It’s as absurd as it sounds.
For Marjorie Taylor Greene’s boyfriend to ask President Zelenskyy, a man in the midst of a war, why he’s dressed like someone at war, is not just a lack of journalistic integrity—it’s an outright insult. It’s grotesque and reprehensible.
But what else should we expect from a group of Republicans who have long shown more allegiance to Vladimir Putin than to the democratic nation of Ukraine? This is a party, led by Trump, that has aligned itself with the Russian dictator and continues to prioritize the interests of our enemy over those of our allies.
Make no mistake about it: The question posed by Marjorie Taylor Greene’s boyfriend wasn’t about fashion—it was an attempt to humiliate President Zelenskyy. And while he failed in that regard, the real losers here are us—the American people.
We watched as our president humiliated himself and our country, attempting to shame Ukraine for standing up to Russia's aggression. We witnessed a so-called journalist trivializing the gravity of war by mocking a leader for his wartime attire. It was a disgraceful spectacle—one that should never have been allowed to unfold on the world stage.
This moment proves that we cannot stand by any longer.
Yesterday, I made the bold decision to leave behind everything I knew and move hundreds of miles to one of the most competitive congressional districts in the nation. It was a risky, but necessary move—and today’s events reaffirmed that it was the right decision.
I’ve fought and won battles at every level—from the State House to the White House. Now, I’m ready to take the fight to Congress and flip the House. But I can’t do it without you.
If you believe in this cause—if you’re ready to stand up and reclaim our nation from those who have betrayed us—then I’m asking for your support. If you can, upgrade to a paid subscription on my Substack, and support me on the road, engaging with voters, building a coalition.
Your support is what has allowed me to make this leap—to be out there meeting with voters, not stuck behind an office desk.
We need to organize a massive Zelensky Day in America. We need massive demonstrations in the streets to show the world that most Americans stand with Zelensky and Ukraine. Spread the word!!!!!! Who can organize this?
Putin has something on trump …..
Zelensky is a real man. All the others in that room are not.
