Here's My Mission: Let's Win Congress

Give me just one minute of your time. I promise it’ll be worth it. I want to share where I stand, what drives me, and why I believe you should stand with me.

It’s February 1st — and Donald Trump just signed an executive order to slap tariffs on Canada and Mexico, which will inevitably drive up costs for all of us. It’s almost laughable, considering the very people who claimed they voted for him to lower grocery prices are now staring down higher bills.

But here’s the truth: This moment isn’t what we envisioned.

I’ll be honest — I thought by now, I’d be serving alongside President Kamala Harris in Washington, D.C., ideally working on digital strategy to help drive change. But life doesn’t always play out as expected.

So we can either sit here and dwell on what could’ve been, or we can get up, dust ourselves off, and push forward — just like Kamala Harris would want us to do. I know what you’re thinking: “Johnny, we just fought this fight. We lost. I’m exhausted.” Trust me, I get it. But we’ve overcome impossible odds before — and we can do it again.

Civil wars? We persevered.

Recessions? We persevered.

Depressions? We persevered.

Insurrections? We persevered.

Facing down authoritarian figures like Trump? That’s the next chapter in our fight — and it’s time to rise to the occasion.

That’s why I’m reaching out to you today. I’ve made a commitment to fight full-time. I’ll be picking myself up and getting back into the game — reaching out to voters who might feel forgotten, and getting them back in the game, too.

But I can’t do this alone.
